Yann Pernot
I'm a Research Intern at bioMérieux, where I pretrain genomic foundation models and apply them to antimicrobial resistance prediction. This continues the work I started at Mila in Montréal, supervised by Sarath Chandar. Alongside this, I'm completing a Master's double-degree in Computer Science between Centrale Lyon and Polytechnique Montréal. Before that, I was an AI R&D Engineer at Corpy&Co in Tokyo, building custom ML solutions for industrial clients.
